Interface (2002) Interface | Ensemble Who manipulates whom? How far is man conducted, ruled or domineered by computers?   The cold, technocratic world with it's mechanical, repetitive movement pattern stands in opposition of the sensual part of human and his personal moments of vulnerable motion. Computable human being contrasts to his desire and longing, his x-rayed body in contradiction to his soul. Still, man and machine come closer and become more and more dependent on each other.   The stage-performance "Interface" contains the disciplines dance theatre and multimedia which are combined experimentally and analysed at their interfaces. Sense and nonsense of human's interaction with computers will be checked out humorous. Borders between digital (computer-driven) and analogue (human) decisions are relocating increasingly - at times a poetic game between human being and computer, sensuality and digital technology.
